What does it mean when you say "company"?

When you sign up for an account with Scrapifieds, you become the company. Your username is the name of your company. Your company store is located at http://username.scrapifieds.com (this feature is coming soon!)

What are the different types of listings?

Basic Listing - this will get your layout posted in the category that you choose. All basic listings in each categoy re arranged by the date they were posted - the newest listings will be posted first.

Upgraded Listing - your layout will be listed in the category that you choose, but the upgraded listings will be highlighted at the top of the page. They will be listed before all the basic listings. They will be arranged by the date they were entered - the newest listings will be listed first.

Upgraded Plus Listing - Your listing will be listed in the category you choose just like the Upgraded Listing, but your listing will also get exposure on the front page of the Scrapifieds website. The Upgraded Plus Listings are place on the front page at random and the featured layouts will change each time the page is opened.

What are the fees for selling on Scrapifieds?

The fees are as following:

It's free to list your layouts for sale on Scrapifieds.  You only pay a fee when the item sells.  The fees are based on a percentage of the total sales price, not including shipping costs.

Basic Listing - 8% of sale price

Upgraded Listing - 10% of sale price

Upgraded Plus Listing - 12% of sale price

All fees are in US Dollars.

How long will my layout be listed?

Your item will be listed until it sells or until you choose to remove it.  No fees will be charged until your item sells! 

How do I pay my fees?

Each month, sometime between the 1^st and the 5^th of the month, you will receive an invoice, both by email and on your Scrapifieds account. When you are logged in, just go to "My Account" where you will find your invoice. Just click on the button to pay. Invoices are due by the last day of the month. If your account is not current, you will not be able to log in to the Scrapifieds website and all of the layouts you have for sale will not be visible until your account is made current.

I have some other scrapbook supplies that I would like to sell. Can I sell them on Scrapifieds?

Scrapifieds is designed as a place to shop for scrapbook layouts. At this time, you can only sell pre-made scrapbook layouts and cards.

When I go to post a picture of my layout, it says that the picture has to be a certain size. How do I change the size of my picture so I can post it?

Your picture will automatically be resized, but you may want to manually resize your photo so that it looks how you want it to.  You can resize photos in most photo programs, and there are several resources online. One of the easiest we have found is www.picresize.com All you have to do is upload your photo and specify the size you would like to have it resized. You then have to download the resized photo to your computer.

How do I get paid if my layout sells?

You must have a paypal account to sell. When your layout is purchased, the buyer will be directed to your paypal or google cart account. When signing up, make sure the email address you use for your Scrapifieds account is the same email address you use for your Paypal account.  COMING SOON - Soon you will also be able to choose between using your Paypal account or your Google Cart account.
